YouTube sensation JoJo Siwa had the most on-brand response for a homophobic mother who contacted her on social media.
The 17-year-old
Dance Moms star and hit children’s entertainer came out on Friday (22 January), prompting an outpouring of support from her many young followers.
“I have never ever been this happy before, and it feels really awesome,” Siwa said in a grinning Instagram video days later. “I’ve been happy for a little bit now, and it’s just so, so, so awesome.”
But not everyone had a kind word to say. Commenting beneath the video, one angry mother had nothing but bitterness for the star.
