Joint Statement On U.S.-UK Financial Regulatory Working Group Meeting

<p><span>U.S. and UK participants held the fourth meeting of the U.S.-UK Financial Regulatory Working Group (Working Group) virtually on May 20, 2021. &nbsp;The Working Group was formed in 2018 to deepen bilateral regulatory cooperation with a view to the further promotion of financial stability; investor protection; fair, orderly, and efficient markets; and capital formation in both jurisdictions. &nbsp;As two global financial centers, cooperation between the United States and the UK continues to be important, particularly during the global recovery from COVID-19.</span></p>
