It was a multi-service response to the incident which happened at about 3.45pm, involving the police, St John Ambulance, the Fire & Rescue Service and the Guernsey Coastguard.
A paramedic and incident officer were on scene at the car park at Icart and traffic was being diverted away from the area.

Cliff paths were temporarily closed while crews were working, but re-opened at about 4.45pm.
