ISKANDAR PUTERI: Johor hopes the Federal Government will consider allowing private clinics and hospitals to participate in the National Covid-19 Vaccination Programme.
State Tourism, Youth And Sport Committee chairman Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi said the move would help the government's efforts to flatten the Covid-19 curve.
He said it would also help to speed up the National Immunisation Programme to ensure a majority of Malaysians would be vaccinated.
"We should give a chance to those who are willing to pay to get their vaccinations from private clinics or hospitals," said Onn.
He said this to reporters after receiving RM20,000 from KPRJ and RM10,000 from Austin Heights Group for Tabung Makmur Palestine on Monday (May 24).
