Jimmy Fallon riffed on the new cannabis chemistry scholarships at Lake Superior State University in Sault Ste. Marie during Tuesday night's monologue on "The Tonight Show."
Two years ago, the college opened the country's first cannabis chemistry program. Now it's offering $1,200 scholarships in that field of study, thanks to Steadfast Labs, a cannabis testing lab in Hazel Park.
"The Tonight Show" host couldn't resist hashing out a few jokes.
After showing a clip of WXYZ-TV (Channel 7) anchor Dave LewAllen delivering the scholarship news, Fallon said, "It's a two-year program that takes roughly 12 years to complete."
