Jewish Federation of Cincinnati hires new Chief Development Officer

 
The Jewish Federation of Cincinnati has named Tamara Harkavy as its Chief Development Officer (CDO). As CDO, Harkavy will be responsible for working with professionals and volunteers to steward the Federation Endowment, whose assets are more than one hundred million dollars. She will also oversee the Federation’s annual fundraising effort of eight to ten million dollars, and lead the day-to-day management and supervision of a team of sixteen professionals plus nearly a hundred volunteers and lay leaders, all of whom support the community’s agencies and partners.  
She will also work closely with The Jewish Foundation of Cincinnati to coordinate donor cultivation for both annual giving and endowments, and the oversight of management, execution, and metrics of the Foundation-supported grant, Strengthening Individual Giving.
