JetBlue Airways will begin service next year at Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport, airline and airport officials said Wednesday.
The new service is scheduled to begin in the second quarter of 2022, according to a statement from Mitchell International.
The New York-based airline will offer nonstop flights to two key markets from Milwaukee: Boston Logan International Airport and New York — John F. Kennedy International Airport.
“This is exciting news for travelers throughout Wisconsin," Brian Dranzik, airport director at Mitchell said in a statement. "JetBlue is the largest domestic airline not already serving MKE, and this will be a fantastic option for passengers traveling to and from Milwaukee in 2022."
