Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah picked in second round
DYLAN SINN | The Journal Gazette
The 2020 Butkus Award winner as the best linebacker in the country is the third Notre Dame player off the board in the 2021 NFL Draft. Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah went to the Cleveland Browns in the second round with the 52nd overall pick.
Owusu-Koramoah is maybe the most decorated player to come out of Notre Dame since fellow Butkus Award-winner Jaylon Smith, a Bishop Luers graduate. The 6-foot-1, 215-pound Owusu-Koramoah was a unanimous First-Team All-American and was the ACC Defensive Player of the Year, as well as a finalist for the Nagurski and Bednarik Awards, given to the best defensive player in the country, both of which went to Tulsa's Zaven Collins.
