Jenna Coleman revealed she sympathises with her character Monique in BBC drama The Serpent, despite her being the girlfriend of a serial killer.
Speaking to The One Show's hosts Alex Jones and Jermaine Jenas on Monday, the actress called her character, whose real name was Marie-Andrée Leclerc, an 'incredibly complex woman'.
The Victoria actress, 34, who looked stunning in a red turtleneck and she spoke via video, admitted she also found mastering the French language and accent particularly hard after garnering some criticism for it.
