The Jefferson City Jays and Hickman Kewpies matched up on a football field for the 120th time Friday night at Adkins Stadium. And for the 12th straight time and 63rd overall, the Jays came out on top. “It’s special, it’s special to be a part of this rivalry,” Jefferson City coach Damon Wells said after the Jays’ 63-19 victory on Senior Night against Hickman in Central Missouri Activities Conference play. “I think it means a heck of a lot to heck of a lot of people, so it’s definitely special.”
