Jay-Z is one of the most successful men in the music industry. As well as his roster of albums (if you count his collaborative efforts there's well above 20 to his name), he's the founder of streaming service Tidal and entertainment company Roc Nation, has stakes in Uber, recently sold his Armand De Brignac champagne brand to LVMH and still co-owns D’Ussé alongside beverage giant Bacardi.
And while this year
Forbes estimated his net worth to have surpassed the £1 billion mark (add Beyoncé's personal wealth and you've got the richest pairing in music), Jay-Z hasn't let his success go to his head. The rapper/producer/writer could easily fork out the £30,000 now needed to cop a pair of those Dior x Air Jordan sneaks or even the £32,000 that his own collaborative Roc Nation Filas demand over at Farfetch. Yet he's still walking around in shoes that you could go and buy right now.
