(NEWTON) The Winter Jasper County Solid Waste Program is continuing. The County Highway Garage dumpsters, along Route 33 northeast of Newton, will be open tomorrow from 7:00 to 3:30. Next week’s rural dumpster will be at the Smallwood site Wednesday morning from 7:30 until 10:30 or 12:00 noon. There’s no yard waste, no tires, and no electronic items accepted.
