Jason Isbell, Lyle Lovett among performers at Tennessee Riverkeeper fundraiser

A fundraiser for a group focused in part on keeping the Tennessee River clean in Alabama will feature some of music’s biggest acts in a virtual concert on Saturday.
Among the scheduled performers are Jackson Browne, Lyle Lovett, Michael Franti and Jason Isbell, among others. The event, known as “Downstream,” will be co-hosted by actress/comedian Alicia Silverstone and David Whiteside, founder and executive director of Tennessee Riverkeeper.
Whiteside’s organization, founded in 2009 and devoted to protection of the Tennessee and Cumberland rivers, will receive 100 percent of the proceeds raised with the concert.
