Japan fighter loses 90-kg canopy in mid-flight, no injuries reported

An Air Self-Defense Force fighter jet loses its cockpit canopy weighing about 90 kilograms while flying over mountainous areas in southwestern Japan, but there are no reports of any injuries or property damage from the incident, according to the Defense Ministry.
