He will lead fundraising, programs for Jamie Daniels Foundation
Will also work with foundation board to develop strategic partnerships
Chris Perry
The Jamie Daniels Foundation has named United Way executive Chris Perry as its first-ever executive director.
Detroit Red Wings announcer Ken Daniels and his wife Lisa Daniels-Goldman founded the foundation in 2018 to combat opioid abuse in the wake of the overdose death of their son while in substance use disorder treatment.
In the new role, Perry, 60, will work in conjunction with the foundation's board of trustees on the development and execution of strategic partnerships, fundraising and grantmaking.
Perry held a number of C-suite positions at United Way for Southeastern Michigan over the past six years, including chief marketing and engagement officer and chief development and marketing officer.
