LOS ANGELES — Oregon is a back-to-back Pac-12 champion.
The Ducks relied on a defensive performance that at times was its most intense and at times was bending but not breaking against the high-powered USC passing attack. The Ducks got two crucial interceptions from Jamal Hill, one that led to expanding an early lead and the latter to seal the 31-24 upset of the No. 13 Trojans in the Pac-12 championship game Friday night at the L.A. Coliseum.
The Ducks (4-2) punch their ticket to a New Year’s Six bowl game, most likely the Fiesta Bowl on Jan. 2, but will await official word on Sunday.
