Stretch marks are a common feature of many peoples' bodies, yet despite the fact that lots of us have them, they can still make us feel self-conscious. Whether we're looking at a fashion ad at a bus stop or browsing our friends' holiday snaps on Instagram, we're used to seeing images of smooth, stretch mark-free bodies presented as the 'norm'.
Thankfully, that's starting to change. Celebrities like Khloe Kardashian and Jameela Jamil have used their social platforms to normalise posting selfies with stretch marks while brands like ASOS have been praised for marketing clothes using a diverse range of models, some of whom are proudly showing their stretch marks.
