Dr. Jacqueline Ashmore is the Executive Director for the Boston University Institute for Sustainable Energy and a Research Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. Jacqueline is a clean energy and sustainability expert with a decade of experience in technology, business, and policy spheres. Her research now focuses on integrated water management and approaches that support sustainable and affordable water supplies – including consideration of the water utility of the future with a business model focused on efficiency. Previously, Jacqueline was Engineering Program Manager at the Fraunhofer Center for Sustainable Energy Systems, where she oversaw the development of an innovative residential solar system that can be installed quickly, safely, and at low cost.
