River City Brewing Co., a dining landmark on Jacksonville's Southbank for more than 27 years, will close its doors for good on Sunday.
Located at 835 Museum Circle, near the Museum of Science and History, the restaurant plans to close following brunch service on Sunday, according to a message on its website.
That's when the restaurant's last bash begins.
Beginning at 3:30 p.m., more than 7 hours of music and dancing kicks off in an event billed as "River Relapse," according to River City's Facebook page. The event will feature music from as many as 15 DJs, spinning up disco, funk, techno and house music until 11 p.m. Admission and parking are free. Guests, however, must be at least 21 to enter.
