A man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of a woman found dead inside her home Wednesday afternoon, Jackson Police Department officials said.
Officer Sam Brown said police arrested Aaron Ellis Thursday morning.
According to a tweet by the department, officers were called to the 500 block of Badger Drive at noon where a woman appeared to have been assaulted. 
Hinds County Coroner Sharon Grisham-Stewart identified the woman as Regina Bell, 38.
