Two seats on the Jackson City Council — in wards 4 and 5 — will be decided.
Three-term incumbent Councilman Charles Tillman is running to remain on the council in Ward 5. He faces opposition from longtime Jackson resident and political newcomer Vernon Hartley.
The Ward 4 runoff will feature Brian Grizzell, an educator, businessman and ward representative, facing Jacqueline Amos, a member of the county and state Democratic parties.
Both races could be close judging from results of the primary held April 6. All other races, including the mayoral race, will be decided in the general election on June 8.
Polls will be open for ward 4 and 5 voters from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Precinct information can be found on the city of Jackson website.
