Jackrabbits Earn Top Seed In FCS Playoffs

BROOKINGS – South Dakota State Football is the top seed in the Football Championship Division playoffs.
The Jackrabbits (5-1), who earned a share of the Missouri Valley Football Conference title and the league’s automatic bid with a Saturday win at North Dakota State, will host Holy Cross Saturday at Dana J. Dykhouse Stadium at 2:00 PM.  This is SDSU’s ninth consecutive appearance in the FCS playoffs and 10th overall.
Holy Cross earned the automatic bid from the Patriot League.  The Crusaders are 3-0.
