Jackets rally past Dallas, 7-6 in 10 innings, in weekend series opener

Joey Villarreal drove in the game-winning run in the bottom of the 10th inning for HPU.
The Howard Payne Yellow Jackets fought back from a four-run deficit for a 7-6, 10-inning victory over the University of Dallas Friday afternoon at Don Shepard Park in the first of a three-game non-conference baseball series.

th, Carson Wert was hit by a pitch to start the frame then Jonathan McKay reached on a bunt single. With runners on first and second and no outs, Joey Villarreal singled up the middle to plate Wert with the winning run.
