Italy, WFP reinforce partnership to bolster food security in Jordan

AMMAN — Italian Ambassador Fabio Cassese and United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) Representative Alberto Correia Mendes on Monday signed an agreement worth 1.5 million euros to support the National School Feeding Programme in Jordan.
The signing ceremony was attended by the head of the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS) Amman, Michele Morana, according to an Italian embassy statement.
