KUALA BERANG: The Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs (KPDNHEP) will conduct continuous monitoring and periodic raids on companies or distributors related to imported meat without prior notice.
Its Deputy Minister Datuk Rosol Wahid said the ministry had not 'washed its hands' over the issue and would continue monitoring the situation to ensure that all meat imported into Malaysia was halal.
