WABASH – The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office Special Weapons and Tactics Team (SWAT) was involved in a police officer-involved shooting Thursday evening that resulted in one dead, one injured and two arrested in Wabash.
No officers were hurt.
According to news releases from the Indiana State Police, the ISP is investigating the shooting.
The preliminary investigation by ISP detectives revealed that at 5:45 p.m. Thursday, officers from the KCSO SWAT served a search warrant at 63 E. Main St., apt. 3, Wabash. After officers made entry into the residence, there was an exchange of gunfire between law enforcement and the occupant(s) inside.
