James Hall, the sales and marketing manager at Spinlock, in Cowes, said: "We've got a focus on the fishing community. In the past, it has not been too interested in lifejackets, compared to sailors and motorboaters, for example.
"But that's a changing habit, with fishermen becoming more interested in their personal protection.
"As a result, we are marketing ourselves more towards the fishing community."
