‘Misinformation’: DA comes to ‘embattled’ councillor’s defence
DA councillor Nora Grose is accused of siphoning off R170 000 from the Temporary Employee Relief Scheme (TERS)
The Democratic Alliance (DA) has bemoaned what it claims is misinformation being spread, in the wake of its Table View ward councillor Nora Grose being charged for fraud and money laundering to the tune of R170 000.
This is in relation to funds from the COVID-19 Temporary Employee Relief Scheme (TERS), which the Hawks allege that Grose siphoned. She handed herself over to the Hawks at the Atlantis SAPS Community Centre and was granted bail of R10 000 in the Atlantis Magistrates Court.
