If you visit a certain German ice cream parlor, the answer could be yes. It seems that Thomas Micolino, who owns an ice cream shop in Rottenburg am Neckar, has added a cricket-flavored ice cream with dried brown crickets on top to his menu. In the past, Micolino has created flavors that are far outside the strawberry, chocolate, banana and vanilla most Germans prefer. For example, he’s sold liver sausage and Gorgonzola cheese ice cream. “I am a very curious person and want to try everything,” Micolino told an interviewer.
