GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - The Institute of Race Relations (IRR) calls on South Africans to support the petition launched on Monday 26 July to oppose the postponement of the 2021 local government elections scheduled for October. 
The third Covid-19 wave has crested, as scientists predicted, making the case for conducting constitutionally mandated regular elections plain.
