Irish unity: Early border poll is bad idea, Taoiseach says

Taoiseach Leo Varadkar said he fears that a referendum on Irish unity would "be divisive and defeated," but that work and research are underway. Varadkar spoke during an event hosted by the Council on Foreign Relations in New York City on September 20.
