Lukas Hallgren has collaborated with Lesley Roy
THE IRISH-born singer who saw her bid to take part in Eurovision dashed earlier this year due to the Covid-19 pandemic will return to represent Ireland in the song contest in 2021.
RTÉ said New York-based Lesley Roy will compete in Rotterdam next May with a brand-new song.
She has spent the last three months in the studio working on a new Eurovision song, which will be revealed in the new year.
The song was written and produced by the Dubliner, along with Eurovision producer Lukas Hallgren, producer/songwriter Philip Strand, Deepend and Emelie Eriksson – known as Eeva.
