Iraq: One Year Later

One year after the onset of the war in Iraq, the United States, its allies, and the Iraqi people are better off, and the ouster of Saddam Hussein's regime pays strategic dividends that too often areglossed over by critics. On balance, the war has enhanced U.S.national security interests in the Middle East and has been a netplus in the war against international terrorism.
