IOWA - Iowa's four U.S. House members are making a bipartisan effort to get more COVID-19 vaccines into the state.
The three Republicans and one Democrat have signed a letter asking for maximum involvement in a program that delivers vaccines directly to certain health providers.
The new program will start sending vaccines Monday to health centers serving the most vulnerable people.
The Iowa Congress members are asking for as many of those centers in Iowa as possible to be included in the effort.
Iowa currently ranks near the bottom in vaccinating its residents for the virus.
