Investment bankers' fee income reached a new record of USD 1.3 billion in 2023, a 28% increase from the previous year. This is the highest since records began in 2000, according to data from LSEG Deals Intelligence. The increase was attributed to higher equity and debt issuance volumes, which offset the significant drop in deal activities.
