Investigation into Baltimore County shooting spree continues

Investigators believe that on March 28, 2021, 27-year-old Joshua Green shot five people, killing four of them. According to family members, Green struggled with behavioral health issues.
Green shot three people at the Royal Farms store in the 1600-block of Middleborough Road in Essex (21221) at just before 6:45 a.m. on Sunday morning. Two victims were pronounced dead at the scene and one victim was injured.
According to detectives, the suspect left the store and returned home to the 1400-block of Shadetree Road in Essex (21221) where he proceeded to set his apartment on fire. Police later found Green outside his apartment complex, dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
