Dyson applauds women in engineering and invites applicants to its new degree course
Female engineers at Dyson in Malmesbury have been taking part in International Women in Engineering day.
The Dyson Foundation organised a workshop, attended by 200 young women, including from Malmesbury School, introducing them to life as an engineer at The Dyson Institute.
Hosted by undergraduate engineers Sophie Bloodworth, Oyemen Okes, Tash Taylor, Emily Jones, Anoushka Patel and Joanna Crane, schools learned about career paths in design and engineering and attended a taster seminar, led by electronics lecturer Dr Nikita Hari.
Nikita is an invited Global Ambassador for the Queen Elizabeth Prize for Engineering. She mentors many aspiring young people in STEM and research.
