Intense fighting rages near Mekanei village as Military Council continues heavy shelling and air raids

The Military Council launched airstrikes and artillery attacks on the Kyauk Taung area of Mekanei village in southern Myawaddy Township of Karen State around 1:00 AM on April 22nd, a local said.
