The member representing Ikwuano/Umuahia North and South Federal Constituency, Chief Sam Onuigbo, has urged the President, General Mohammadu Buhari (retd.), to implement several resolutions of the National Assembly on the control of small arms and light weapons as a step towards stopping insecurity in the country.
He also called on Nigerians to support the security agencies in the country by being security concious and sensitive to their environment.
Onuigbo, who spoke in Umuahia the Abia state capital shortly after commissioning a 500 KVA transformer he attracted to his constituents in Ikwuano Local Government, said Nigeria was on the brink of total collapse if serious actions were not taken to check the current trends of insecurity.
