An escapee eel was on the loose after it reportedly broke free from a tank in a nearby restaurant.
The eel was filmed in the gutter on Mill Street near Chinatown, in Adelaide on Monday morning after it seemingly got loose from a restaurant on Gouger Street.
The slithering eel is a Longfin Eel and is often kept alive in tanks in restaurants before they are served either smoked or cooked.
