Innocence Sold: Despite law, sex trade flourishes at hotels

More than 14,000 citations have been issued to 6,669 hotels and other public lodging establishments in Florida for violating a 2019 law meant to curb human trafficking, a Sun Sentinel investigation has found. But not a single fine has been issued and the sex trade continues to thrive behind hotel room doors.
