Inferno Engulfs Army Infantry Brigade Camp In Nowgam Sector; Locals Flee In Panic
SRINAGAR: A massive fire has broke out in an Army Infantry Brigade camp at Lawoosa Mawar area, falling under Nowgam sector, in north-Kashmir’s Handwara.
Reports said that a blaze erupted at around 2300 hours inside 17 Infantry Brigade Camp, which soon after spread a vast area.
Quoting locals news agency
GNS reported that the raging fire has caused ‘quite some damage’ as they can hear loud bangs inside the bastion.
Meanwhile the inmates in houses falling in vicinity to the fire spot have fled to safer places out of panic.
