The section of the Black Dyke Mills site the units wold be built on
NEW industrial units could be built at a vacant section of the Black Dyke Mill site in Queensbury.
A new planning application submitted to Bradford Council this week seeks permission for four new units at the North West of the site of the Grade II listed mill.
Once constructed the units would create 565 square metres of new business space on the sprawling site.
Currently that area of land has just a garage and shipping container on it.
The application, by the Lowry Partnership, says: “It is believed that the simple styling of the new units will not detract from the appearance of the listed building surrounding.”
