India has set a precedence in global vaccination efforts by digitizing the mass immunization programme for covid-19 and will produce more vaccines within six months to inoculate more people, the founding architect of Aadhaar, Nandan Nilekani, said at the Redseer Ground Zero 4.0 virtual event on Friday.
“India will be a role model in providing vaccination at scale with agility. It is one of the first countries to create and digitize a vaccine certification process, which will help the Indian population considerably," Nilekani said.
