India: Pro-government tycoon's TV bid threatens media freedom

Business tycoon Gautam Adani, who is considered close to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is set to buy a 29.18% share of NDTV (New Delhi Television Ltd), sparking fears about a further decline in media freedom in the country.
