India must prioritise narrowing the gaps in essential medical supplies, hospital capacities: WHO
With the unprecedented rise in Covid cases over the last few weeks, India has been facing a major challenge in terms of increasing hospital beds, supply of oxygen, and critical drugs needed to treat Covid-19 patients. The World Health Organization is asking the country to primarily focus on bridging the gap between essential medical supplies and demand of hospital beds.
