Colt DCS, a global data center company, plans to invest over $1.3 billion in India over the next 3-4 years to develop data center campuses. The company aims to start with two campuses in Mumbai and Chennai and expand to other cities in the future. The first phase of the Mumbai project involves an investment of $115 million, with a total estimated investment of $750 million. Colt DCS is also acquiring land in Chennai to build its second data center campus. The growing demand for data centers in India is attracting global investors and developers.
