LCSO deputies investigate stabbing in North Fort Myers

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is warning drivers of an increased deputy presence in North Fort Myers.
They were at the intersection of Coon Road and Donald Road in North Fort Myers and that intersection was blocked off from public use.
Authorities were in the area for about two hours to investigate a stabbing. LCSO says the stabbing suspect is in custody.
Lee County EMS was also on scene to offer medical care to the suspect.
Deputies advised drivers to avoid the area as they continued the investigation.
