Coronavirus
Arizona's number of identified COVID-19 cases has reached 851,725 (up 460 from the day before), and the number of deaths increased by 14 to 17,123.
It's Thursday, and this is Coronavirus Watch from The Arizona Republic, where we update you about the latest on how COVID-19 is affecting you and our community.
The restaurant and bar industry in metro Phoenix is partnering with pharmacies and other health organizations to help its front-line workers get vaccinated, The Republic's Tirion Morris reports.
Industry-organized events have seen hundreds of workers get their jab, including a recent one in the brewing space of PHX Beer Co. Holding the distribution events at a business helps pharmacies distribute the vaccine more widely.
