Show Transcript
Hello, everybody. Welcome to high school OT in the league. This is the weekly show we do here at high school OT, where we recap the most recent week of NFL action, specifically breaking down the performances of the players who played their high school football right here in North Carolina. As always, I'm Kyle Morton joined by Joel Brian Joel. Did you have a good holiday break? Weekend, week, so to speak. I did. I miss the Saturday Games. I went to see Wonder Woman 1984 which was a mistake. It was not good, but yeah, I mean, on Sunday we had some big stuff happened for Messi players. Kyle, we did, and it was a big week for for the league as a whole. And it was it was kind of cool to see some of the guys we've been talking about all year figure into these. You know, these playoff races, that air coming right down to the wire. There's one play in particular. I'm excited to discuss, uh, coming out of the A f. C. So a little a little teaser there for you, But we are going to start in the A F C with a little bit of a surprise. Not too big of a surprise, given the circumstances. But our New York Jets the hottest team in the league? Uh, no. In the last two weeks, they defeat the Cleveland Browns, 23 to 16. Cleveland's dream season kind of put on ice a little bit here. The Browns started 10 and four, now in grave danger of missing the playoffs. One of these teams that is sitting at 10 and five in the A F C is gonna miss could be them. We'll see. We'll see how this week goes. I think they got a break with a certain announcement today. We'll talk about that later in the pics. Jamison Crowder out of Monroe and Duke. He's been great all year, and he showed off his athleticism and what exactly he can do in this 177 receptions for 92 yards and a touchdown, and he threw a touchdown to on a trick play. Ah, 43 yard touchdown pass to none other than Leesville Road alum Braxton barriers. So it was awesome to see two of the guys we've been talking about this a wild Jordan having is joining a surprise guest. Surprise guest Jordan. We were just talking about the Jets and their surprise victory over the Browns. Didn't see that crowded Barrios trick play there. Yeah, I mean, they put on for their home state right there. Jamison Crowder. I mean, I saw Duke football tweeted out that he threw a left handed touchdown back in college, and then this was with his right hand. Um, and then Braxton Barrios. I mean, on the other end, able to finish that play. That's pretty exciting, but it's good to be back. This is so eerie Feeling. Yeah, Jordan's first appearance on in the league in here and heading into Week 17. So better late than never. I supposed Barrios. In addition to that one touchdown, I'm gonna get through the stats from this game real quick. Barrios three catches for 60 yards on the score. Mathias fairly out of Charlotte Christian. What a performance. He's been a guy we've talked about more lately than we did early in the season. He was huge for the Jets defense. Just getting in. Baker, Mayfield face all game five tackles, two pass breakups, and, uh, he kind of gotten Baker's had a little bit because one of his past breakup came right before that strip sack. That kind of ended the game for the Jets. Larry Ogunjobi out of Ragsdale for the Browns. Another strong performance. He had four tackles. Um, Joel. So I mean, you know, the wide receivers for the Browns, obviously, in quarantine. I think they had one guy from the roster and a couple of practice squad guys end up going. So no Jarvis Landry, No Donovan, People's Jones and, uh, no Higgins, either. It's Ah, it's a tough break for the Browns, but they couldn't do it. They couldn't pull off the comeback. Yeah, but they're not the only team that's dealt with something like this, right? We had Kendall hidden play quarterback for the Broncos. I don't really see it as much, um, excuse for the Browns because they're playing the Jets, who, until we could go, do not have a single win of the season, and the Browns like they have good tight ends. And then they have Kendall Lamb, the backup offensive tackle from Butler High School who had that touchdown. You sing out there right, so there's not not any excuse for the Browns, I want to say the Crowder stat line. He's the first player in NFL history to have 90 plus, receiving a 40 yard, 40 plus yard touchdown pass in the 10 plus yard rush in one game. That's not surprising because, you know, stuff like that doesn't happen often. I think you know, I think you make a good point grounds Air pretty uniquely positioned to survive no wide receivers because they have Austin Hooper. They have David and joking when they have Kareem Hunt, who they can split out wide as a as a really good pass catching running back. So, um, if it had to be one team, I think, you know, maybe the Colts with 19 Heinz could have put him out wide. But I think the Browns were in a good spot toe win anyway, and and they're not able to get it done. The Jets defense with inspired performance George and even take on the brown swatter, see your situation. I mean, I fully expected the Browns to win that game because their running game has been was carried them all year. I mean, when you look at the two at the attack of Urban Hunt. You can argue that's the best rushing attack with that tandem in the league s. So I was expecting them to kind of just lean on that. And like you said, they have. They actually have three really strong tight ends and uber Joko and Harrison Bryant s O. I was fully expecting them just to really line up and kind of play hard nose old school football with multiple tight ends. Um, but when you fall behind, it makes it tough to come back. So I like. Like I said, I was expecting Kareem Hunt lineup when he wasn't in the backfield at wide receiver. Really used his past catching ability. But, um, this late in the season, um, loss. Could you come back to hurt him playing the Steelers this week? But I expect the Browns kind of handle business and make that playoff appearance for the first time in a long time. Yeah, the Browns will not be facing Ben Roethlisberger this week. Is the Steelers announced they'd be turning the Mason Rudolph for weeks? 17 today? Jordan, you've joined us just in time. Uh, Joel said he he could not watch the games on Saturday. I watched this game. It was it was pretty boring for me. I'm sure it was miserable for you. Yeah, the Tampa Buccaneers show out in a 47 to 7 win over Chase Daniel in the Detroit Lions. Is Matthew Stafford left after the first drive with an injury? Of course, the special teams Bradley, Opinion and Ryan suck up huge for the Buccaneers. Once again, even though this was not suck ups. Best game, he did put some points on the board opinion. Had a really nice point in the lion's inside the 20 Romeo Okwara continued his strong season for the Lions. Hey, had two tackles, a sack and a forced fumble. Kind of, Ah, alone. Bright spot for the Lions. I do kind of want your take. Jordan, Um, what do the Lions do from here? Because it seems like they're kind of at a crossroads with Matthew Stafford and and where he factors into the future of the franchise and they're gonna have a high pick and a good quarterback draft. Yeah, that's gonna be a tough question. The Lions franchise right now is in a very interesting situation. Um, they're gonna be looking for a new head coach, But first I gotta find a new GM. I think that I mean, our owner, she looked forward. Hampton, Um, that's already came out and said that she's gonna leave that up to the coaching staff with Matthew Stafford. But I think you give Stafford. We've seen a lot of success. I think you might take a quarterback early, depending on where you fall, because there's four or five guys that I mean teams might fall in love with. And I think you haven't said behind Staffer for a year, learn kind of how to play in the NFL, how a quarterback of that magnitude could prepare. And we've seen a lot of success with first round picks sitting for a year sitting for the first X amount of games. I mean, look at my home looking for Mark Jackson. Those guys have been went MVPs very early on in their career, but they didn't start right off the back, so I think that's stage that not only the lines, maybe the Falcons are also in. I was about to say You just keep that quarterback for another year, allow him to kind of go on a, um, ending tour and then you re evaluate the situation after that. But I do think the lines are gonna be in the market for a young quarterback to learn from that effort. And chase Daniels. Well, yeah, yeah, the Falcons. You mentioned it. I was about to say they're in the same situation with Matt Ryan, the Panthers. They're gonna be looking for a quarterback, and they also have a veteran Teddy Bridgewater under contract. I think, you know, obviously the Jaguars and the Jets need quarterbacks, but there's some teams who have veterans who I think. I think you don't want to end up in the situation. The Steelers find themselves in where you stick with your veteran too long, and you don't know what's gonna happen next year because Roethlisberger's declining pretty quickly and Mason Rudolph is not the answer, and they have drafted it. So I think teams want to do what the Chiefs and the Ravens did and draft their guy before the veteran is too far gone and kind of have that learning relationship. I think that's a smart move, and we'll see a few teams do that. Joel do you have thoughts on? Well, I wanted to mention that Romeo Cora has his ninth sack now. That sack was the season which he's already passed his career high, but now he's just adding to it. But also, this is important. His brother Julian Akora, who was a third round pick this year. This is his first game of his career. He's been injured all season, but they got in here, uh, he had, let's see two tackles, including one for a loss. So, you know, first career game, Uh, big spot against Buccaneers, nationally televised game? Yeah, Pretty decent job. Are you saying about the two brothers there? I'm actually really Romeo shown flashes the past few years for the line. I mean, being that kind of third down guy coming in pass rushing. But this year he kind of became a co two guy. Trey Flowers has been out to Sean hands been in and out of the lineup. Danny showing in the inside is missed. Numerous games are only record has been the one steady presence on the front floor, and I mean, he's been a beast. He's been tough to handle and being the main guy the offensive lines are scheming for. He's been able to get after the quarterback getting a career high nine sacks. Who knows? Maybe we'll get to double digits with another one this week, and that'll be a pretty cool milestone for Romeo. We're talking about young quarterbacks in the league, kind of figuring out the future of that position. The Giants need to figure out their future at quarterback. They fall to the Baltimore Ravens, 27 to 13. Not a surprising outcome, but all the Ravens were starting to look like they did last year. I think these last few weeks and the Giants offense obviously pretty anemic. Another decent game for Daniel Jones out of Charlotte Latin. Coming back from his injury, they kind of rushed him back, I think, uh, before Hey was pretty clearly playing hurt better this week, 24 41 252 yards a touchdown. No turnovers, Which is impressive against that Ravens defense with Marlon Humphrey a corner and that pretty vicious pass rush the Ravens throw at you? Um, some other bright spots for the Giants. Dexter Lawrence out of Clemson and Wake Forest. He had five tackles against the Ravens is he kind of helped shut down J. K. Dobbins and that rushing attack a little bit. Hey, is a Pff grade of 78. This year. We've talked about how seventies is kind of where you want to be to be really strong. Lawrence's above that. He's proving to be a really good not only prospect, but already a good player for the Giants. Um, Joel, this is a big blow for the Giants playoff hopes. They can still get in with the win and some help this week. Um, but I think, you know, we kind of both saw this one coming with the Ravens moment. Yeah, the Ravens were looking good. I'm not. I'm not so sure about the Giants playoff chances because it requires them to be the Cowboys and then the Eagles to be Washington. So I'm not so sure about about that. Their chances there, but stranger things have happened. It is true. A lot of people have mentioned that Lawrence was drafted pretty pretty closely after Dwayne Haskins, who was just released by Washington. So, uh, it z crazy to see the kind of disparity that you can have in the middle of the first round like that, where one player is just a complete bust, no doubt about it than 11 guy just gets better and better drives career like Lawrence. Um, there's still some skeptics out there, but I think we all know that his talent is, uh, is Supremes, where I think he kind of transcends that normal type cast of a big kind of run stuffer. Defensive tackle wrapping up the stats here. B J Hill out of NC State in West Stanley. He's been another bright spot on that young defense for the Giants. Three tackles and then Anthony Levine out of Tennessee State and R. J. Reynolds had a tackle for the Ravens, Another guy contributing a little bit in the game that we haven't really talked about too much this year. Um, Jordan, do you have thoughts on this one? Um, piggyback death Lawrence is doing, I think what everybody in this area expected him to dio e mean he's This has been a dude that's been one of the best defensive lineman at every level of high school. I mean, five star recruit goes to Clemson. I mean, comes out of the first round pick and now then has his time with the Giants, is progressing. He's slowly developing and becoming another top two defensive lineman. I mean, that's what Lawrence is gonna be a good player in this league for a long time. And then Daniel Jones, you mentioned it, rushed him back a little bit too early. You could tell he was a little injured, but that no turnovers against a stingy Ravens defense. That's if they if they are gonna make a playoff push. Um, next week, he's gonna have to replicate that performance. Um, and protect the ball. Absolutely. The Pittsburgh Steelers had looked awful four weeks in a row. They nearly lost to the Ravens practice squad pretty much, and then they lost three games in a row on they were looking like they were gonna make it four in a row before a dramatic comeback. The Colts, up 24 to 7, can't hang on to that lead. Steelers come all the way back when, 28 to 24. I do want to skip ahead. Alex Highsmith made the play of the game in the fourth quarter. I will not. Maybe not the play of the game but decisive play. He rushed Philip Rivers into a bad throw on on, I think, fourth and seven from, like the 25 where if the Colts converted, they were gonna have a pretty good chance to score a touchdown and win. Hey made the big play one. The Steelers. The game. He's been thrown into a really tough spot as a rookie with all the injuries on that defense, Um, the Steelers didn't have a first round pick, and then they walked away with Claypool in Highsmith with their first two picks of the draft. I think that's a really impressive Paul. Danica Autry, out of album moral, had three tackles for the Colts. Um, just I mean, we have a lot of guys on the Colts ITT's. It's a really tough loss for them. They're still in decent shape to make the playoffs. I think at the end of the day, because they have the Jaguars this week. But man up 17 on Pittsburgh, a team that had no momentum, you want to see them finish that? Yeah, my mind's also had 13 touches for 64 yards. I forgot to put in the notes for some reason, but he also did well, Um, it's just This is probably the most surprising outcome of the week for me, especially when you factor in the lead that they had. It was really hard to think the Steelers coming into this game just because they seemed like they were in a total tailspin on the culture playing well, it's just This is a very surprising outcome to me. Um, do we talk about Ebron? No. Eric Ebron catches five passes for 47 yards and a touchdown. That touchdown came in the fourth quarter. It was huge. I mean, this game just looked exactly like we expected it to look, I think early on and then the Steelers just found it. I mean, Roethlisberger played a lot better than he has, and those receivers didn't really drop any passes. DeOnte Johnson and Juju Smith Schuster catch touchdowns and then Brown adds one. You called for Jaylen Samuels to get more touches last week, and he started this game but didn't touch the ball. Only three snaps after the initial half of the game. Uh, I mean James Conner, I think, scored a touchdown on this one. Well, I'm mostly tired of seeing Benny still. Well, I'm tired of being Connor. I'm the Steelers. Need to figure something out of running back. I don't think I don't think Connor smell or difference makers at all. Um, Samuels with his versatility. I mean, he doesn't have the speed to be an elite back in the NFL, but his versatility in his strength and in receiving ability, I think make him a useful asset, especially in that short distance passing game like we talked about last week. Um, yeah. I mean, a big win for the Steelers. They build some momentum heading into the playoffs. They're probably not feeling too bad about themselves the way they were before this one. Um, I still don't think they're really a contender in the A F. C, but you never know. It looks like Jordan is in the rock bottom part of SpongeBob. Kyle and I are like, at the top of the George is at the bottom in the dark. I'm not in the best lighting situation. I would turn on my overhead light, but then I think everybody would get a headache from that, but we kind of piggyback off. Alex Highsmith. The Steelers have been brutalized by injuries at the linebacker position, but three Devin Busch explain. I mean, this kid's had to step up, and I mean doing a great job as a rookie, to be able to come in and make an impact like that. And then, like you, said the Steelers running back situation. I mean, that's that's very concerning the Steelers in my going back Thio, Coward and even with Tom and it zoning the football. But I did like how the Steelers were able to pass the ball downfield. That's something we haven't seen since that look. Yeah, I mean, ever since you know we're off this burger had the elbow injury last year, we haven't really seen the ability to push the ball down the field. He hit juju deep and deonte Johnson deep for those touchdowns. Stuff encouraging for Steelers fans. I know we have a lot of Pittsburgh transplants in the North Carolina area, so I'm sure there's a lot of excited Steelers fans, uh that, you know, send the kids to these high schools or attend these high schools. So yeah, I'll be interesting to see what Steelers dio uh, speaking of the favorites in the A F C. The Kansas City Chiefs survived the Atlanta Falcons in a truly bizarre game. Uh, Patrick Mahomes and company never really got rolling, UM 17 to 14 win for the Chiefs. The Falcons had a 39 yard rushed field goal attempt to tie it. Yang Wei Qiu, who has been outstanding this year, didn't hit it. Um, I mean, this was really surprising to me because the Chiefs did have something to play for the Falcons, didn't I expected the Chiefs to kind of put their stamp on the season this week and then rest everyone next week? But it seems like even though they played everyone, they kind of took the week off a little bit. But they do get away with it. Sealed the number one seed Todd Gurley out of Tarboro for the Falcons. He continues to see his role dwindle. Um, you know, Smith had a pretty nice game as kind of the lead back, but Girly did get more involved in the passing game than he has been in the past weeks. With three catches for 36 yards, limited work running the ball, but four carries for 16 yard. That's four per carry. That's not too bad. Better than where he's been in some of these weeks. Um, it's just weird the way that situation worked out because he was scoring touchdowns, such a torrid pace. It looked like he was starting to get some of his his speed back. And then the Falcons kind of just decided the toe to make a change at the running back position. I guess they like either Smith as a guy from future. Well, this is actually one of the better games than a few weeks I think started the humans. That 26 yard catch was a really good sign. Yeah, just that that injury you got to kind of derailed him. And they really like Ito Smith. So you know it za tough situation. But I think we agree that Todd still worth taking a chance on for a team next season because I think he's only on a one year deal. Atlanta Yeah, yeah, I think he'll get another cheap one year contract toe to try to re establish himself. But you know, as a running back, you only get so many chances to reached out themselves. So I don't think we're going to see the Todd Gurley that was a dominant Rams running back ever again. I think we can put that to bed. But if he can come back as a as a veteran guy who gets goal line work like he was earlier this year and he can, you know, have his load management, as they say in basketball, if they could kind of incorporate that with him, maybe he can gain some of that back. Yeah, Tiger, really gonna bring value to any backfield? Um, just because of his experience? Um, isn't he's just know all of how toe be successful in the NFL. Um, and you're going to see teams with young bags. Really Give him a chance. Kind of. Think about Adrian Peterson Now. He's bounced around from the Saints, the Cardinals, the football Washington football team down Detroit, just going around, being a mentor, being a really great example of locker room guy Um, Todd Gurley confined himself in that role and we'll have a home in this league. I think for a few more years and I mean the production still there. He's had some really solid games this year. Talk about an offense that has, you know, really, really turned things around the Chicago Bears or the hottest offense in the leak. Quarterback missed Robiskie out of UNC, is playing the best football of his career right now. David Montgomery looks like a superstar running back these last few weeks. Alan Robinson's playing well. Darnell Moony looks like a great pick. Cole commits, contributing as a rookie tight end, and our guy, Jimmy Graham, Hey, had seen his role dwindle like girly had. And then he came roaring back to life on Sunday, roaring like a bear. Some may say four catches for 69 yards, two touchdowns really impressive plays on both of those touchdowns. To, uh, this was the best game I think we've seen Jimmy Graham have in a very long time. It was it wasn't too cheap curl round touchdowns. I mean, one of them was a curl, but yeah, the other was on the vertical route, so he looked like he was turning the clock back. Big game for grand big game for the Bears. They you have to beat the Jaguars. They took care of business in pretty impressive fashion. He had another two touchdown game earlier this season against the Falcons. Hey, had 16 2 touchdowns then, but, yeah, you know, it's, uh, it's still it's still proved to me that he could really play. I mean, you're talking about use up to eight touchdowns this season after not reaching anything like that since 2017. Uh, he's had a nice little resurgence. He was 34 years old. We mentioned earlier. He's kind of climbing up slowly. Some of those career charts. We think he'll end up in the top 15 receptions and possibly among tight ends. I'm not sure where he would stack up, but if he heaps, if he keeps this efficiency, touchdown was wise for maybe just two more seasons. He could end up is like a top 10 tight end all time and touchdown catches. So it'll be interesting to see. Yeah, I mean, we've ragged on the Bears offense a little bit, especially, you know, the way it's designed sometimes, but personnel wise, right now, they've put Robiskie in a good situation. He's got a good running running game behind him. He's got good players to throw the ball to, and it's kind of all coming together. It has been against some weak or defense is they're going to get a big test against J. R. Alexander and the Packers this week. Andi, the Bears will need to play themselves into the playoffs, and I mean, someone in the NFC is going to make the playoffs. That doesn't deserve it. Definitely one team in the NFC East, but one of the Bears, the Rams of the Cardinals. I think they've kind of all forfeited the right to call themselves playoff teams at some point in the season, the Bears air peaking at the right time. If they could meet rival Green Bay, which is depending on who Green Bay rest is either very likely or very not likely, I think, um, it'll be interesting to see if they get another shot in the playoffs, because that double doink lives lives pretty pretty big in the mind of their fans. Speaking of like, Gosh, Cody, Parky has hit the post Like how many times have you over the Browns? He did it again on Sunday. Yeah, it's shocking that he's still believe how I'm sorry. E think he's hit the post in his career, more times than he hit field goals. Because there's this game. Protein parties hit the post E. I mean, it looks like it's trying to. I mean, I would feel much more. Just don't. There's some pickers who like it feels like when they're young, they missed one kick and they never get another chance again. And it seems like parking is just getting all the chances of world Cody Park is. There are people in the E kind of doubt, either You guys watch much of this game. I happened to watch this full thing, really. An entertaining game. Awful defense. But the Cincinnati Bengals beat the Houston Texans, 37 to 31. The Bengals have kind of ruined their chances to draft pennies to, Well, ah, guy, they were really hoping toe add to their offensive line. But there, you know there are other good offensive lineman. Maybe they get a wide receiver for Borough. They have options to improve that offense or the defense. They're gonna be picking probably fifth or sixth. I think we'll see how this week goes, um, Cheon Crossing a guy we talked about all year as a special teams guy. He's moved on to the defense the last couple of weeks. I don't know for sure if it's due to injuries or just the coaching staff deciding he deserves the chance. He was awesome. A rare bright spot among the Texans defenders in this game. Eight tackles, four pass breakups. Jermaine Crap for the Bengals out of NC State in High Point Central. He had five tackles, one for loss. Um, yeah, I don't know what it was, but the Texans could not stop Brandon Allen or some a J. P. Ryan. It was weird. E mean Bangles their building. Look, the Dolphins last year were winning when they shouldn't have, or when people said they shouldn't have. They built a culture. They built a strong defense, and now they're, you know, 10 and five and on the brink of the playoffs. So I think the Bengals air probably approaching things the same way under Zach Taylor's thinking. Hey, if we could get some wins, build some confidence, we beat the Steelers. We just beat the Shawn Watson. Those were big kind of culture building winds, even if it costs you a draft pick. It worked out for the Dolphins. They got the guy. They want it. Anyway, Uh, maybe the Bengals can find a way to get the guy they want after all this, but I'd be encouraged if I was a Bengals fan. The guys we have on that defense had been playing pretty well lately as well. I'll let Jordan take this one. Yeah, E, it's the really interesting debate. When you get to this time of year is do you wanna be winning? Do you want to play for the draft body? And I think if you're a team like the Bangles mean after having the number one pick you wanna you wanna build a culture on, do you wanna build that identity and a lot like the dolphins going a little bit of run? Um, so the fact that they're able to do that I think it can definitely carry over the next year. The only issue is you don't know when Joe Burrow is gonna be back. The video circulated over the holidays of him walking already. That's very promising. Um, he's gonna try everything he can to be back out there. Week one. Hold your breath on that. But Jermaine Pratt, I think, has been a really bright spot for that defense. I think he's gonna be in the league a long time. This to do that made plays in NC State. He's doing it in Cincinnati. Um, so I really like crap. And then Cheon crossing That's a dude, that he's been a beast in the special teams and finally get that set chances that playing for I don't want to say the worst secondary in the league, but quite possibly the worst secondary. Um, And to go out therefore pass breakups. Just impressive to having one game. They were testing them and he was ready to answer the bell. I would not want to be a text on this fan right now. DeShaun Watson is having by far the best year of his career, and they're still terrible. If they're not getting their pit, they don't have a first round. The Dolphins are gonna get a free three overall pick. Oh, my gosh. And make the dolphins air. They're gonna be a problem next year. Yeah, let me watching to see what they could build out that line. Or if they go for chase or what they do with that pick because they're not gonna be picking a quarterback. I think we could. Smith put that e would say, Devante Smith, go get to a familiar weapon. But also, I mean, if you're sitting there, three and many schools there, that's gonna be a tough God. Maybe they do draft a quarterback because they do have a quarterback Controversy. Apparently already E. Was, uh, Carolina Panthers or the Carolina football team, as they are a football team in North Carolina. Carolina, which does not exist, defeats the Washington football team 22 13. The story of this game was Dwayne Haskins and being brutal. Yeah, but the Panthers another A culture. When you know you be the team that's leading a division trying to make the playoffs, you do it with your your young defense. That looks really promising, especially in the front seven. Secondary might be concerning. But the Panthers front seven is a really exciting group, just I think that's just objectively true bright spot in that secondary. Justin Burress, out of NC State and broaden he has really emerged this year, is a solid at least a rotational piece, I think, or four tackles in this one. Um, yeah, I mean, I think if you're a Panthers fan, you gotta be excited about this defense. You've got some weapons on offense. You win a game without Christian McCaffrey. Brian Burns battles through an injury to play a few snaps on Ben. You know, you get a big special teams play, force a few turnovers off a bad quarterback, make the other team released that quarterback after the game because he played so badly. I mean, it's not like it's not that impressive that the Panthers beat Dwayne Haskins, but the Panthers have been losing a lot of games that they've been in. So I think it's probably good for that group in that coaching staff toe win one. Um, some fans are mad because they want the higher draft pick against her. Well, it's a huge win for Matt Rule. I mean, also the factor beating Ron Rivera, the previous head coach of the Panthers. I mean, that that is a That's a big stepping point, I think, because that really probably solidifies rule as the guy in that locker room, probably because, you know so probably one of those players. Low ground, Rivera, right? The fact that go out there and be his dude team has been playing, Uh, I think it's I think they're gonna be in the playoffs. So I think that's a big step for the Panthers program there. Yeah, and to when the Panthers hired Matt Rule. Um, everybody knew it's gonna be take a couple of years. Matt rule everywhere he's been, he's gone to some tough situations back in giving. It was college. We're going to temple, going to baler through programs that we're just looking for. Horrendous Year three. He had them where he wanted them. So I expect the Panthers to improve next season and then in year three, Um, that's gonna be when Carolina is gonna take that. We're gonna really see how good Matt rules Carolina Panthers will be. Yeah, I mean, with look with, you know, with McCaffrey healthy and those wide receivers, either you need to upgrade on Bridgewater or you need to upgrade the offensive line because if you upgrade the offensive line, Bridgewater's life becomes easier. Things get more like it was for with the Forum with the Saints when he went five and up. Um, the Panthers are gonna be that good anytime soon. But you can get like that. I mean, Bridgewater is He's as good as the team you put around. He's one of those, so I'm curious to see what the Panthers do. I think if you get an offensive tackle high enough, you take it. If Fields falls to you, I think you take fields. I don't know about Wilson. I think that's kind of where my line would be. I don't know, But, um, yeah, we'll get into that in the off season. I guess I'm an offseason addition of this show. Maybe maybe we do a draft talk on sports fan or something. Yeah. Zena. Man, this was an awful game. Seattle Seahawks, uh, defeat the L A Rams and kind of, ah, Winter wins the division game. But Jared Read was huge. The Seahawks out of Goldsborough. Three tackles and two sacks against Jared Golf was one of those ones that injured golf Or did he get hurt on a different place? I know I wasn't watching this game. Maybe Jordan us. I didn't watch this game years awful. I did. I was I was not watching this either. I was watching the Washington football team Carolina Panthers. We were all watching different things. But, you know, read now, having 6.5 sacks. That's fifth among defensive tackles, right? That's also the same number of sex that Pro Bowler Chase Young has this season. But Joel is very mad about Chase Young making the problem. I am very mad about it because I can't remember the last time a defensive end made the Pro Bowl with six sacks. I mean, there's there's no there's a lot of upset Panthers fans. Brian Burns, right? A heck of a year. I mean, coming from a Lions fan. We just talked about a Cora, right? Read more sex than that. So I mean, e think it was probably a name thing mean number, Pig hyped up. Sean Young is really good. He is. He's got He should earn it more before they just annoy him. The Pro Bowler. I mean, we've we've seen stuff like this before, the especially on the defensive side of the ball. If you're young player, that kind of goes out there and have success. Um, in your first couple of years, I mean Marshawn loud Maurin Buddha Baker not not saying those guys not deserve it this year. But, I mean, they each have three Pro Bowls in the first four years. Eso young guys, they come in and make somewhat of an impact and generate the buzz around them. They seem to get in there a little bit more anyways. Good job, Jared. Read. You also pray that probably for 2018 Yeah, uh, speaking of outstanding defensive players, Good Lord gyre Alexander the best cornerback in the NFL Bar None. We're not biased at all. But out of Rocky River. Hey, on in the snow on Sunday night. Fun game to watch. Really fun. Hey, was targeted five times. Only allowed one reception for 10 yards broke up three passes. That is a 39.6 passer rating allowed from Ryan Tannehill, who has been quietly outstanding this year. Um, because everyone I think everyone focuses on Derrick Henry and in a J. Brown in that offense. Tannehill entered Sunday night with five picks against, I think 31 touchdowns. Uh, that I think that's good enough to put him on the outskirts of the M V P. Conversation The outskirts, Not in it. Um, but Air Alexander just another fantastic performance. Um, this is Ah, pretty game to watch Given, you know, the snow at Landau. Kind of a really classic look to it. Um, he's a Pro Bowl. Or even though there's not going to be a Pro Bowl this year, I suspect he's going to be an all pro first team. I think that kind of should be a lock. Um, yeah. I mean, a good game to watch. The Packers kind of took care of business. Earlier, the Titans had a push, and then the Packers had an answer late. Yeah, we say it every week. You know, Alexander is a supreme talent, especially for it's seen that, you know, got used to something like that with a, uh what? You know your guy Jordan. Uh, wasn't Charles Charles Woodson. Charles would guy. Okay, So you're Jordan E Packers fans. They're used to having this elite corner, right? They didn't have one for a while. They were. Now Alexandra is here. He's the best corner in the league. He is a technician. He knows what people he knows what the other teams running before they run it. Right column for the point is that he was he was jumping these out routes like There's nothing like somehow you just test this kind of like fighting sense of. Also, he knows what's gonna happen before it happens. Just gets the ball knocking down. He has more pass breakups than any corner I've seen that I really pay attention to. Yeah, go ahead, E. I absolutely hate playing the Packers, and it's because of the guy on the other end of the ball. Um, but Jay Alexander I mean, I've seen him play twice at least twice a year, every year since he's been in the league and his improvements been impressive Every year he gets better. Um, and you guys say he's the top corner in the league. I mean, it's hard to argue with the numbers putting out this year. I mean, there's some guys in that conversation, for sure. Ah, but J R. Alexander is one of the premier guys on the defensive side of the ball, and I think he's gonna He's gonna get paid well by the Packers, and he's going to continue Thio be a Green Bay packer for a long time. Yeah, there's two kinds of elite cornerbacks and you've got you know, the physical monster types like Like what Richard Sherman was for Seattle, and I think Alexander is more in the mold of like a Darrelle Revis. I think the year he's having is is kind of reminiscent of those Revis Island years with the Jets. And, you know, when when Revis was at that level, everyone talked about. I mean, he was like a star in the NFL, and I don't think Alexander really gets that level of credit. You know, it helps when you play in New York and get that media attention. But the Packers are. Yeah, there's a lot. I mean, Davante Adams is happening on that team, every drums. There's a lot of attention to go around with Green Bay. Those debts teams were basically just Revis in the defensive line being dominant, so it makes sense. But I think Alexander's kind of in that mold. He's going to continue to be an elite player for a long time, and I think you know the Packers post Woodson and when they kind of struggled, they just didn't have that defensive talent on the roster toe help Rogers out. Now, you know Rodgers has a fire under his. But after after they drafted Jordan love guy like Alexander emerges and all of a sudden there legitimate Super Bowl contender again, I hope they're in the Super Bowl. I would love to see a Chief's Packer, Super Bowl or Bills Packer. Super Bowl. Maybe. I think those would be really fun. Um, it's crazy to think that Rogers hasn't been a Super Bowl in 10 years. Yeah, he's crazy. Well, Russell Wilson and Drew Brees and all those other guys that have been around the NFC cam at his peak. Yeah, there's a There's been a lot of talent in the NFC. Yeah, way you move on to our picks. You think? Okay, well, these air, some of these games really matter. Some of these games really don't. And the ones that really don't are gonna be really, really tough to pick one that does matter. Is the Dolphins at the Bills? I believe the bill still have something to play for. You haven't shown up the two seed yet, right? The Dolphins need to win this game. The Bills would like to win this game. Josh Allen has finally developed into the superstar quarterback that people thought he could be when he was drafted. The accuracy is fixed. Stefon Diggs has helped him elevate to a new level. Is a premier wide receiver in the league this year alongside? I think Davante Adams. Um, I've got the bills in this one. I think the Dolphins might find a way to sneak into the playoffs anyway, even if they lose. But the Bills air kind of on a little bit of, ah, revenge tour. We saw it last night. They wanted to embarrass the Patriots. And they did. It was kind of a lot. Yeah, I have the bills as well. The second seed is still really important. I know they don't get the automatic by but still really important is that they're give me guarantee the host again in the next round. So I still think there's a lot to play for for Buffalo. Yeah. You wanna put off playing the Chiefs as long as possible? Exactly. Um, I'm gonna go with the dolphins just because I could see, um, they have the corners environment today to to match up that bill's passing attack. Um, question for the dolphins. Who's gonna be starting? I think you go into again? I'm on git Kind of a similar situation. If it gets down late, you need a spark. You put in Fitzpatrick and hope for some fits magic. But I'm gonna with the Dolphins because I think they really need that win. Bryan Flores is gonna have his team, right? That Dolphins defense is so fun to watch. I think the Bills offensive line is maybe a little too strong for those disguise past rushes. But that's gonna be a fun matchup when the Dolphins defense is out there against the Bills offense. I think, obviously, you know to is intriguing if it's Patrick's intriguing, but I think the game is gonna be decided with those corners against Digs and Alan, the Bengals at the Ravens. Also one o'clock, the Bengals air hot all of a sudden. But they're not gonna be the Ravens. No, no, they're even seen this. Too bad. Yeah, the Ravens air peaking at the right time. To which they were not last year, people. They peaked too early last year. Steelers at the Browns without with Without Ben Roethlisberger the resting him. It'll be Mason Rudolph who? We saw a lot of last year, and it did not go well, especially against the Browns. That's kind of interesting little story line with what happened last year. If the Browns, I'm assuming those wide receivers will be out of quarantine and the protocol at that point, I'm gonna go with the Browns. I think you know, they could just do too many things offensively. Uh, Thio, you know, with with how many injuries the Steelers have on defense. They have too many options with the Chub hunt and then some of those rollouts and play fakes. They get going with Baker to kind of get him in a rhythm. It's tough to defend. I like the Browns Mason Rudolph Revenge game. Don't this dealers? It's gonna be just like 2007 when the Browns and 10 wins and blew it at the end. I could feel it. That be funny. Zach Adams doesn't want to hear that. But Myles Garrett, I'm gonna I'm gonna believe in the Browns. I'm gonna say the browns get in the playoffs. Um, chemist, fancy done a heck of a job. Deserves to be in the Coach of the year conversation. Uh, Myles Garrett, More sex than Steelers touchdown. Bold prediction. I don't know. How about that? ISS eso the Steelers? I saw this tweeted out earlier with Rudolph A quarterback. Last year, the Steelers averaged 1.5 touchdowns per game. Garrett could easily who sacks from Garrett. Put your telling. I'm feeling comfortable. He's gonna He's gonna He's gonna be extra motivated. Ever since an extremely meaningless game, the Minnesota Vikings are traveling to Ford Field to take on the Detroit Lions. I'm assuming that there is no way Stafford plays this game, which pretty much means there's no way the Lions put up many points at all, which means the Vikings will win. I that amazing analysis right there. Um, Dalvin Cook ran for over 200 on us the first time Dalvin Cook's gonna run for 200 again. Yeah, I don't I don't see how the lines when this game lines are in a very important race for a top five pick. I don't know if they're going to get there but worth trying. I think this is the easiest of the meaningless games to predict. The Jets are locked in to the second overall pick so they can. They can go all out to beat Bill Belichick and the Patriots. Who are the walking dead? Basically, I mean, there's just no life to that team. The Jets air hot. They're feeling themselves. I like the Jets. May be big, maybe big. I don't I don't care what kind of weird version of the Bill Belichick Patriots this is. They're still going to respond after that blowout loss that they just suffered on national TV. I don't think Bill Belichick is a, uh, layover kind of type. He's not gonna just, like, forfeit this game, essentially to the Jets. Uh, they're gonna come out and play hard. Um, I'm going with the Patriots. Let me go with patriots as well. Um, I mean, can do is fighting for his job next year. That's also true. Yeah, he's not gonna roll over and die, and Bill Belichick is gonna have his defense ready. Jets were locked into that two spots, so it doesn't really matter. Eso they're gonna be playing for pride, but three wins in a row for the Jets just doesn't sound right this year. Cowboys at the Giants in a huge game. This is not a meaningless game at all. the Cowboys coming off a win over the Eagles in which Andy Dalton victimized uh, banged up Eagle Secondary. This is this is the hardest game to pick because the Giants defense is much better than the Eagles defense. But the Giants cannot score. But the Cowboys defense is bad, so I couldn't even explain a lot better. Bring better. They're still bad. I'm gonna go with the Giants. I think. I think that secondary is going to be too much for Dalton. It's gonna be a major step up with the way Bradbury's playing. They've got those young guys on the defensive line. I think this this just feels like, you know, the way those the Giants always used to sneak into the playoffs with Eli. It feels like it might happen this week. Like just the Giants, just defying all logic, find a way to get in. I don't think it's gonna happen with that later, but I do think the Giants will do their part. They'll win. Ah, gritty, close, ugly, boring. Being here to me like this is not even close. And I think the Cowboys gonna win it pretty easily. Um, I'm going with the Giants. Wow. Okay. Yeah, I The reason for it is it would just explain the cowboy seasoned perfectly. You suck for so long. It's looking like you're good. Tough. I pick you go on this little run, give a glimmer of hope that you will make the playoffs and then, you know, really late game situation. Daniel Jones goes on a long run to win the game. That's gonna be That's probably what's gonna happen. Um, cowboys gonna end up with, like, the 11th pick in the draft. Nobody's gonna care. And, um, they come back next year with Dad Preska under center and hopefully find something. I agree. The Giants just are one of those franchises that have that has that kind of weird magic going for them. I think we might see something Sunday. Another meaningless game. The Falcons at the bucking nears. Or is it the bucket? Are the bucks locked into their spot? Okay, so the bucks probably won't play anybody. What? I don't know if if they if they lost in the Rams, one did the ramps of a tiebreaker over them. They played Who won that game. Oh, my gosh. The Rams research. I'm gonna take the Falcons because it helps the Lions draft chances. I'm gonna pick the books. Moran has won that game. Yeah, I thought that. I thought so. So there is something to play for for Tampa Bay. Okay, give me Tampa. I think the Buccaneers know that the Rams are gonna win because quarterback. So I think the bucks are gonna just, like, let the Falcons do whatever they want. Right? Top five, pick for the Eagles. Saints at the pant. There's another, uh, Saints were locked in it too, right? Yeah. You told me on the spot. I don't think Seattle gets them. E don't think so. They the same record right now. Eso the states lost in Seahawks won then? Yeah. Okay, so the saints are going to win Alvin Kamara six touchdowns on Saturday or on Friday on Christmas. Maybe he gets seven this week because the Panthers struggled against the run a little bit. And, uh, yeah, I don't think I mean, if I was the Saints, I wouldn't want Drew Brees dropping back too many times against the Panthers pass rush because they'll get him on the papers. Can't defend the run, so give me a big Camaro game. E think we're gonna see more Taysom Hill that Drew Brees? I think you are right back, Kyle. There's no point in doing breeze out there in that game. Ah, you might. He might go out there and just kind of lead them to a couple touchdowns and then pull them half time. Kind of like Tom Brady did against the lines this past week. But yeah. Thanks for just a better team right now. Well, I think that will require them to get up by enough. Um Because, like we said, that there is something Lives here s O. But I do think you're right. I think they probably they They probably get enough lead after the third quarter where they just give it the hill. Him lately, I might start tasting. I mean, yeah, I wouldn't want Brian Burns getting anywhere near Drew Brees. All right, We'll get away from those with mobility. Saints, Saints. When packers at the Bears. This game matters very much for the bears. Not at all for the packers. Um, so I think you know, you've You've got a decision to make. If you're the Packers, do you want to try against your division rival on knock him out? Or do you want to rest Aaron Rodgers, Which is probably obviously the safe thing to Dio because I don't think you're too scared of the Bears getting in. I think maybe you're a little scared of the Rams are the Cardinals. I don't think they're scared of the Bears. I don't know. I don't know what they're the read would be, but, um, I think they're going to rest guys. And if they rest guys, the bears will If they don't, the Packers will. Yeah, I agree with you. I I have, um I think they have to rest guys that it's just it's not worth the risk, Especially in that defense. I'm gonna go with the Bears. Um, the Packers are known for in the NFC North, resting guys and still coming out on winning in Week 17. There's a Matt Flynn game that I remember very vividly. Matt Flynn throwing for 500 yards, um, on a Detroit Lions team that was kind of in a similar situation to Chicago Bears. But I got in the Seattle contract. Yes, that exact name. Um, but I'm gonna go with the Bears because that offense it looked really good. The Packers defense has been a little shaky on def. You can run on them. You could have some success. David Montgomery's been an absolute monster last five weeks. So, yeah, the Packers dryers great, but they can't defend the run really at all on day. They did kind of scheme Derrick Henry away on Sunday night, and, of course, they got up so big they made the Titans throw. So Henry wasn't that much of a factor. But if the if the game script allows it, you could definitely run on the Packers. Which quarterback that Russell Wilson usurped is better. Flynn or Mike Glennon? Glennon. Can I take Tarvaris Jackson? That's fair. The Chargers at the Chiefs? Uh, this was a really good game in Week two. It was, I believe it was Justin Herberts coming out party after Tyrod Taylor suffered an injury, Herbert played a very good game. I wouldn't say great, very good NFL debut against the Chiefs. The Chargers defense played My home is really tough. It seems like the A F C West teams always give Mahomes some trouble. The Broncos play a good defensive game against them. The Raiders obviously beat them, and then almost meeting the second time, the charges almost beat them. We're not going to see Patrick Mahomes on Sunday. We're probably not going to see Tyree killer Travis Kelsey, either. So I like the Chargers. I like the charges as well. I think they're gonna end this season on a four game winning streak, which is, whether you like anti Len or not. That's still a positive, a positive point in his book. I would say, although it doesn't help the franchise in the long term, Uh, I just I can't see a who even is the chief's back up. It's more. It's not Chad E. It was chatting. Any advancement Go chat. There's no difference between those two players. I'm gonna go with the Chiefs just because of that earlier loss. That's the only blemish. They're gonna want some revenge, no matter who's playing the beat. The Chargers It was close. The Chiefs won. The Raiders are the only team that beat the chief. You're right. You're right. You're right. Um, yeah. I'm serving for the cheese. I think they want that 15 and one. They want to set an example, um, and then go into their bye week with little limited. I think the Chargers and the Bengals, you know, when you talk about the wind versus tank debate, if you have the quarterback already in place when Yeah, because, I mean, if you're not hunting for a quarterback, there's not much difference between picking 4th and 6th or 4th and 7th. You might want that guy, but at that point, you just go there. Either Borough and Herbert are gonna be superstars who make them good or they're not. And and the difference is not gonna be fourth or so. And I think Herbert is going to be a superstar who makes the truck. Yeah, interesting tweet. I think I saw earlier. The charges have now won four straight one score games, which is like a miracle. They they do everything. They can do that with them. They held on against the Broncos on Sunday. Speaking of the Broncos, they're hosting the Raiders and another meaningless game. I think this is one where the Raiders were disappointed to not make the playoffs and the Broncos air looking to build momentum toward next year s So I'm gonna go with the Broncos close. I agree with that. And then does John Grogan seat get hot? I I can't see Gruden willingly going out on a four game winning losing streak, right? E? Obviously not willingly, but I just There's something I just cannot see the Raiders losing this man because that would be just such a It doesn't feel like a Gruden team to me. Thio every every team that has every divisional matchup that was. I think they've all been split pretty much across the board this year. Like every team that lost the first one has won the second one. Um, there haven't been many exceptions other than like the tanking James, but, like when it's too like Okay, at least Okay, teams, It seems like it flips. The Raiders destroyed the Broncos. It was that Drew lock disaster game. He's recovered somewhat nicely since then. This is gonna be interesting. I mean, Drew locks playing for his job. Jerry Judy was awful on Sunday. He's got something to prove. He's gonna be a guy on that team, no matter what. But hey had, like, five drops, including a touchdown. Um, yeah, I mean these air to interesting teams because, yeah. I mean, the Raiders have some decisions to make. And the Broncos dio Yeah, well, tightens up. Oh, gosh. Titans. Massive, Massive. If I actually need this one all day Yeah, I think I think if you gave the three of us enough tries, we could run for a touchdown against the Titans. The Texans that run defense is the worst thing I've ever seen, and they're about to face hole with that Cunningham e. I mean, that's the I mean, all. Jokes aside, that's probably the worst run defense in the league. We saw David Montgomery a few weeks ago just go 80 yards on the first play from scrimmage against him like it was nothing. They just give up running, running games and yeah, I mean, if you're Derrick Henry, fantasy owner, it's really unfortunate that, you know, he had that off game against the Packers. And then, you know, Week 17, when the season fantasy season's over, he's gonna be playing the Texans that that's a tough break. The Jaguars at the Colts Jaguars can try now that they've they've walked up the first pick. But even if they do? Try It won't matter. Jack did upset the Colts in week one. They're only one of the year. They will not get a second. The Colts will will roll Colts bigly speaker the award. No, it's Ah, thank massively. Yeah. Jonathan Taylor has has really come on. After a slightly disappointing start. He's looking like a feature back that they can build that offense around. I think this is gonna be a big 19 game. It could be. Yeah. I mean, they both they could both go off. They both had. They've had games where both of them have have started. Pretty big. Go ahead, Jordan. Not against alliance now. You just torched us. Yeah, the cardinals at the Rams. So you were saying Joel, you alluded to the Cardinals being a lock for this one. Skyler is hurt too, Skylar. Questionable for this one. So one. Yeah, also like a nobody. But I've seen a lot of tweets about, like the Rams back up being this really athletic guy that that can make plays with his feet. I think the Rams are winning this game no matter what. The Cardinals are the worst coached team in the NFL. they prove it every week. They were a disaster against the 40 Niners. A complete disaster. They had no reason to lose that game. They lost it anyway because Cliff Kingsbury can't manage the clock. He can't call plays. He can't do anything. He needs to go. He's wasting Kyler Murray's rookie deal. It's a shame, and he's gonna get outcoached by Chamakh. They and the Rams have a really good defense. So they could put Ramsey on Hopkins and limit. You know that damage. I like the rims I had the Cardinals, Sicily. The Buskin has ever happened for Jared Goff. Um, lose his job. I don't know. I don't know where Kyle's pure hatred for Cliff Kingsbury comes from. Um, but I'm gonna go with the Cardinals. Woolford the white Force along, uh, beat him out. No, over. Beacon ahead. All right. Okay, so Well, joke's on him because Kendall was starting before him. That is true. Um, I I think Kyler Murray is gonna be too much just having that ability. Aaron Donald's gonna be Aaron Donald, but rammed. Only hope is it looks like the patriots for just goes the other way. Eso answer your question Jordan. My hatred for Cliff comes from the fact that a team with Kyler, Murray and DeAndre Hopkins should walk to the playoffs, and they have pieces on division. They have Buddha Baker, but the 40 Niners or hurt the Seahawks are struggling lately. It's not as good of a It's a good division, but it's not as good as A. I think the A F C North might have something to say about that. Look. E yeah. E Fox game, By the way, it should be way. Do guess the Fox 50 game? It could be the Packers and the Bears. I wasn't thinking that Panthers because it's the Panthers. At the same time, it would be the Panther. I think it, like contractually, has to be the Panthers or Seahawks Seahawks. They need a big offensive performance to build some momentum because they're struggling. Uh, there's no reason for them to be struggling. They just are, UH, they I think they'll figure it out. Pete Carroll is a good coach. Russell Wilson, D K. Metcalf, Tyler Lockett, Chris Carson. I'll roll with those guys any day. Um, I still don't think they're there. They could win the NFC I don't think they will, but, um, they'll figure it out at some point. I think. Yeah, will be the Warriors. Finally, Sunday night on WRL thrilling showdown right here? Yeah, the football team at the Eagles. So it's It's simple. The football team wins this game. They win the division. They will not be starting Dwayne Haskins. Which means they have a chance to win this game. Three Eagles were flying high. Aan den. They crash back down to Earth. I thought, um, you know, they jumped out to that 14 3 lead. Miles Sanders has that next touchdown. Hurts hits to Sean Jackson for like, that was so cool. That was like Ventures to Sean Jackson right there. It felt like, you know, the Michael Vick days, where he just hugged it down the field. Jackson was running then on. Then it all fall apart. The Eagles, who have suddenly suffered a lot of injuries in addition to their earlier imagine Well, it's a new batch, this new batch of injuries they got S o. I think I think the Sean Jackson got hurt on that somersault. He didn't begins up your game. Sean Jackson's last three years or like he catches a long touchdown, was up for a game and then just injured the rest of time. You make one big play, gets do it and then they bring it back, like, six weeks later to do it again. There's not better deep ball tracker I've ever seen, Probably everything that no one has ever been able to track the deep ball like him. It's really special when he's on the field football team big. Yeah, if Alex Smith is back and whole shot, Alex Smith needs to be back. And Terry McLaurin needs to be back for this to be big. But I think the football team will win regardless. I'm really like this Play video with the Eagles just because you know that it's gonna upset Joel. So I'm gonna go with the Eagles. Um, they're gonna win. They're gonna have a worst pick than the Lions. And it's just gonna is and the Panthers, and it's gonna tear Joel apart. Oh, my God, That's like my worst nightmare. Like it's gonna go like lines it four Panthers at five, and then the eagles at, like, nine. Oh, my gosh, don't even put that out there because, like, I'm seriously concerned, they're gonna win, and then they're gonna go take like, a wide receiver. That's just not gonna be anything. Yeah, they're gonna take like like a guy everyone has, like as a second round or third receiver in the top. Yeah, all right. I think we're done. Yeah, I think I think so. That'll do it for this edition of high school team in the league. Tune in next week when we'll recap Week 17 and preview Wild card weekend tuning throughout to find out which bust of a wide receiver the Eagles were gonna draft on. How that makes Joel Field and, you know, draft, we're excited. We're gonna have a decent crop again of North Carolina alarms getting drafted S O that will be interesting to follow. And we've got the whole playoffs. So I got the playoffs. Um, yeah, We'll see how the playoffs go. If you want more high school team in the league content, go to high school t dot com or the high School of the APP and search in the league. You'll find all of it under that search and we'll be back next week for Joel Bryant and special guest Jordan Hatting Kyle Morton and we'll see you next week
